Installation Options
The Wei Li pump can be installed in a variety of plumbing configurations: self-priming, positive suction head, and submerged. This installation flexibility translates into a direct cost savings for the entire liquid processing system.
A self-priming condition is where the pump is located above the liquid level. The Wei Li pump is self-priming up to 6.4m(21') of water (refer to specific pump suction lift figure). A positive suction head condition is where the pump is located below the liquid level. Pumps operate most efficiently and parts life is maximized when inlet pressure is limited to .68 Bar (10 psig.) The Wei Li pump can also be completely submerged. The pump's materials of construction must be chemically compatible with the liquid and the air exhaust must be plumbed to atmosphere.
